Wolverine went down to the Hanger bay and entered the X-Jet. He warmed up it's engines and prepared it for flight. It would be odd to go do these missions without more X-Men but they had to do what was needed without them.
"Where are those kids?" Wolverine said speaking to himself.

A pure white eagle flapping franically to try and make it on time flew right in and smacked into the window not to far from Logan. Janet started skwauking madley..
"CAW! CAW! CAW! CAW!" She flapped her wigns as fast and as often as she could. Then relized that know one could understand her. So she queited down and just looked at Logan and then at Lorna.

Flaps in an shawks more but then relized again she is still but a bird. So she changes to her human self and then answers. "Because I don't have good eye sight when it comes to windows." Janet then gave a smile. "Plus I might be having a off day."

"Hey ok so I crashed two times." Janet then thought and then started stating how many times she crashed. "I changed to my human form in midde air while trying to get ready to land on a branch, then there was the gate I crashed into, Then I crashed into the ground while still in my bird form, oh mustin forget the recent ones I crashed into the kitchen and oddly enough I crashed right into the water of the swimming pool and then here."
Janet gave a smirk. "Well atleast I have a perfect crash record. Doesn't that count for something?" She said adding a grin and a shrugg. Thens ighed and sat down and put her face in her hands. "Ok so I can't get the flying down all that well. If you knew why then you'd understand."

Janet looked at Carol "It's not my fault when ever I get to high or come into fast it's like my body panics." Janet said as she shrugged. "It has always been like that ever since before I became a mutant when I ...." Janet lowered her head. "When I fell out of a window hitting hard on a roof like 30 feet below it. Then I rolled off and fell the rest of the 30 feet...." Janet looked at Carol. "onto a wood pile. I got pretty injuried that day and hadn't been the same since."
She then looked at Logan and Lorna. "See why I can't help it? It's something that my body had started reacting to." Janet said almost in a sad voice.
