Name: Janet Moore
Affilate: X-men
Team:
Age: 18
Discription: Janet has blue eyes and blonde hair. She stands at about 5.8 and weighs between 145 and 165 pounds. Her hair is medium length on the sides and back of her head but is short and spiky on top of her head. When Janet is in her eagle form Her feathers are pure white right down to her tail feathers. She is a standard size eagle with the standard wingspread length.
Apperance: Janet likes wearing her plaid or checkered shirts only half way buttoned down, she ties the rest up enough to show her belly. Janet wears blue jean pants with boots that come over top of her pant legs to half way to her knees. Janet likes it when her boots match her shirt so if she goes out and buys a new shirt she would half to buy boots to match the color of the shirt she buys.
Powers: Janet’s power is her ability to transform into a rare white eagle. This process is not painful and Janet can do it as often as she wants as well as stay in that form as long as she wants.
Weakness: Janet’s weakness is that when she is in her bird form she can not talk like a normal human girl. All she can do is make eagle sounds. She also does not have a good sight perception meaning she would not know if a window is open or closed or see traps that would be set all that well. Plus she is not invincible she can get hurt and can bleed like everybody else.
Personality: Growing up in the south Janet has a pretty southern personality that makes her fit in fairly well with others. She’s pretty quiet and loves nature. She’s not the type to want to fight but will if she has absolutely no other choice. In a bad situation Janet has a tendency to over react. Which often gets her into trouble more then she can get out of trouble. Janet does have one fear and that is heights, which is strange being that she turns into a flying animal. She tries not to let that stop her but when flying she will go no higher then 60 feet if she can help it. Janet is always good for a laugh as well.
History: Janet was born in a small house just outside the forest in winter of 1986. Her parents both worked. Her father was a hunter and a fisherman and was often gone most of the year. Her mother was a house cleaner which ment she would go to others people’s house and clean it for money. They didn’t make a lot of money but they made enough to get by in the world. As Janet was growing up she was not afraid of anything. That change of course when she was eight years old. Janet was at the neighbors cause her mother was away cleaning houses and her father was out on his fishers boat for a month now. Janet was playing on the window ceil on the third floor which was the attic when she leaned to far out the window to even stop herself and she fell smacking her left side on the roof below and then proceeded to tumble off landing on her stomach right into a wood pile. Janet spent two months in the hospital healing from a shatter hip bone, three bruised rib bones, a broken arm and a fractured ankle. After that Janet did not go near anything that was higher then herself. As Janet was growing up she was home schooled since her parents couldn’t afford to drive her to school. Which was fine with her cause she would have more time to get up early and go out for a walk in the forest.
When Janet was about thirteen things started to change. She slowly was more accepting of height and would climb trees but not to high up just maybe ten feet from the ground. That wasn’t the only thing that changed. One night Janet went out for a walk. It had rained earlier so the ground and trees were pretty wet but that did not matter much to Janet She had found a new tree to climb. Now this tree was not like the others. This tree had very few spots to put a foot or a hand on to grip well to climb. Janet felt and observed the tree trying to find spots to stick her foot or to put her hand on and when she was sure of it she started to climb. The wood was very wet and slippery but Janet still kept going. About ten minutes and twenty feet up Janet was almost to the first real branch when both her hands and feet slipped. Fearing the worst Janet started to yell as she shut her eyes. It was then a strange feeling came over her entire body and Janet felt like she was getting smaller and lighter. She thought she was dead cause when she opened her eyes she found herself on a branch.
She had tried to talk but when she heard only bird sounds Janet knew something was wrong and she confirmed it when she looked down and saw bird claws. She went to cover her eyes and rub them but saw white feathers instead of arms and hands. She couldn’t help but to fell freaked out about the whole thing. It took about an hour for her to realize that this wasn’t a bad thing. And taking one look at the ground Janet leaped off spreading and flapping her wings she soon figured out how she was able to land on a branch when she was falling. Getting a bit excited she decided to fly home. The whole time wondering what her parents would think and how she could tell them.
But her thought quickly stopped when she smacked right into the living room window from the outside. It was then she didn’t have a clue to how she can change back. So she took off again and flew around the house trying to think of what to do and just then she started getting that strange feeling again. Her instincts were telling her she better get close to the ground. So she did. Just in time to cause right as she was landing Janet found herself changing to her human self and she landed right on her knees. As she got up and looked around she decided she wouldn’t tell them a thing that it would be her secret. So for many years Janet had went on about her normal life and every chance she got she would go off flying around her home and the forest. When she was fifteen Janet had decided with her parents to go to America. The trip there was just fine and for many years Janet’s family was happy. Until one frightful night when Janet was only eighteen her and her parents had walked in on a store robbery. The three robbers quickly shot at them so to not leave any witnesses. Janet was lucky cause she had dodged behind a shelf but her parents laid dead on the cold floor. Fearing she was next Janet quickly changed into the white Eagle and flew out just getting nicked in the wing by the bullet. Now alone in a big city Janet has to survive on her own.
